Uni OOTD//New Balance Trainers

So excited to show you my new New Balance Trainers, ahh look at them! I have had mixed reviews from my friends, however i think they're a great alternative to the usual converse/vans look. I ideally wanted the all black model, however, these ones were easily accessible from Office and i had a voucher to use! They're mostly black, with dark grey and light grey patches. However they're tiny, so i had to get a size up. I know i'm going to find it difficult taking these off. What do you think of them?

Also just a quick post, to show what i would wear on a typical day to uni. I live in my various Topshop Joni jeans, fun fact, i never even used to wear jeans until Topshop released these! I also can't stop wearing my £2 necklace from ebay, can't complain with that price. Also excuse the big bushy hair, i had just woken up.

Spring in Autumn

Awkward long gap since the last proper post, apologies, however its a new season and new academic year, so hopefully i can get back in to this blogging stuff. So obviously all the fashion weeks have just happened, and i have been admiring everything front row (in front of my laptop screen), and i can see that pale pink is the colour of S/S14! However i'm already wearing it now oops. I was never a pink kind of girl, you know, however, i love it and want to wear this over-sized, super soft jumper from Primark everyday. I think it was like £4 haha.

I wore it tucked in to my old school trousers, which are years old from Zara, but are a classic fit. Excuse my just woken up face, i was getting ready for uni haha. So hopefully some more outfit posts to come, and i think i need to invest in some kind of camera haha, or be brave enough for someone to take pictures for me, so apologies for the quality!

I love using Polyvore, its a great way to plan outfits and find amazing pieces of clothing, however it can be depressing when you realise none of it is yours boo. However, we are approaching a new season, and i am now focussed on my winter style. Black is the epitome of style, and perfect for the cold season, its eternally chic and i think it is acceptable to be head to toe in black (surely?)

I have noticed some Wang look-a-like bralets on missguided, however i'm not sure if i can pull it off?! Quite a brave piece haha, but anything black and leather is ideal. What do you think? Also love the leather jacket, they are a must in everyone's wardrobe, they are versatile and perfect for throwing on top of any outfit. And ideal for people like me who dislike wearing coats, (they hide the outfit!) but still cover you.

I have seen this top on quite a few people recently, its quite fun! Not sure if its for me though. Also, i am loving trousers at the moment and can't wait to invest my birthday money in some! Topshop have a great selection! Trying to structure my blog a bit more, do you guys like these weekly Polyvore posts?

London Outfits

I recently spent a week in central London, visiting uni friends! Its a tradition for me to visit them every summer now haha, and its so expensive but worth it! Apologise for the instagram pictures, but they will do for now haha, the first outfit, i wore twice within one week! I found the black skirt in the River Island sale, which i was impressed with, as i never buy anything from there. I have been lusting after a sheer skirt for a while and thought it would look good  with my Topshop cream silk top, to wear to a family party. The white heels are from ebay, and i am obsessed, they are white with a mesh insert, white and mesh are everywhere at the moment!

The second outfit, i wore to go shopping on Oxford Street, its my new love in life, my kimono! Another ebay purchase and i was lucky, i placed a bid at last minute! You can't see it very well, i'm going to go a proper post on it soon! Its so sheer and light, ideal for throwing on top of any outfit.

The last outfit was for a night out in Shoreditch, i wanted to wear something that was inbetween dressy and casual, so wore my cream polo neck top from Primark, and tucked it in to my Topshop Joni jeans, and added heels!

BHMN by ambikak featuring long skirts

I really want to get back in to my blogging, i really don't know why i have ignored it for some reason, but i think i need to get over my fears and be confident with it! Heres another one of my Polyvore sets, and thinking of making it in to a weekly post, to give my blog more structure alongside wishlists and ootd! 

I love the chunky boots with the feminine skirt, i'm one of those people that can't dress too girly, if you know what i mean? Haha. And the leather bralet is such a dreamy top, every girl must have it, although it is a little risqué, but i guess we can all channel our inner Rihanna?!

These are my most recent sets that i made on Polyvore, what a great website but at the same time makes me want to cry with all its amazing stuff! As you can tell i am still in white mode, as i have been for a while. Its the colour of the season and is perfect for the weather we are having right now. I'm really feeling the black New Balance trainers in the 2nd set, however they are nowhere to be found on any websites! I also really like these simple, fold over clutch bags. Can you tell, i want a lot of different things haha!
